As I mentioned before, you can find out about the traffic that your competitors get from Google Analytics by looking at the traffic source. For instance, if your competitor is “advertising”, you can see how much traffic you get from Google Ads or Adwords. And of course, you can find out a lot about you and your competitors by using the traffic source that other sites use. This is something that we do in our own company.
It’s really important to note that traffic sources may be different for different types of site. For instance, the traffic that sites get from Google Analytics, like the one we use in Google My Business, is a combination of both Adwords and AdSense traffic. The traffic that we use from Google Analytics also comes from our own website.
One of the things that you can do is figure out which traffic source your competitors use. You can also get a pretty good idea of how many people are visiting your site by examining their bounce rate. We have a data studio which we run that we use to find out how many people are clicking on our site, and we give that to Google Analytics to see how many people are visiting.
