This line is a common one when people ask me what I do. I can’t really give you an answer. I don’t think it is necessarily useful to answer such a question, but I do know that I do a lot of things that I don’t want to share. One of the things that I like to do is write things down so that I can recall them at a later time.
Well, here we go. I like to think of myself as a writer. I write both fiction (my own stuff) and non-fiction (a lot of stuff I never read before). It’s a strange hobby that I really like. I write because I like the idea of getting to write about something that I care about and I like to feel as though I am creating something interesting. I use this to help me forget about some of the things that I find hard to let go.
In my mind I have a pen and paper and a notebook full of paper. I have to write everything down (or my fingers will just bleed through them). I have to write things down so that I can come back to them later. I have to write it down because I can’t remember it.
This is why it is so important to write down all of your important thoughts, memories, feelings, and decisions. I can’t get them out of my head because it will just make it harder to remember when I’m finally able to let them go. Instead, I have to write everything down in my notebook because it will take me a while to come back to it. One of the best ways I have found to let go of a bad habit is by writing them down.
In the past I have been guilty of this, but I have been able to let go of bad habits thanks to writing them down. I can’t say the same for other negative thoughts and feelings. It can be hard to let go of bad habits, because they may come back to haunt you, but writing them down is a great way to give them a chance to go.

Learning to stop a bad habit is a lot like learning to stop using a bad drug. I use a drug to help me sleep, but I’m not using it the way I originally planned to. I’m using it in ways that don’t fit my original plan. I’m trying to learn to be more careful about using a drug that I started using.
